FTNON Prep lines – Three-belt systems
for fresh vegetables and salads
The conventional preparation lines consists of so-called three-belt systems, which are applied often and successfully.
A conveyor belt on working level is loaded with product by one operator. Then this product is transported along the work stations, which are mounted at the belt. The employees at this infeed belt take the products from the belt and process them on the cutting boards. Cutting waste is thrown on to a discharge belt via a waste funnel and discharged. The prepared products are put on a belt at a higher level and discharged to - for instance - a slicing machine.
It is possible to provide this type of pre-processing line with special steps so the product discharge belt can be used as an inspection belt too.
