FTNON Slicer
for blanched mushrooms
With this FTNON slicer you can cut blanched mushrooms in parallel with one single cutting head. The construction is such that damage is limited to a minimum. The mushrooms are fed in the reservoir of the slicer by hand or automatically. The water dams up and spreads the mushrooms over the full width of the infeed system. This system comprises stainless steel gutters in which water is flowing. In this way the mushrooms have the correct orientation when presented to the cutter head. The cutter head has one single axle on which circular shaped knives are mounted. After slicing, the mushrooms fall on to a dewatering belt. This wire mesh belt dewaters the mushrooms and transports them to the next processing station. The processing water is caught in a buffer tank via a filter. A pump enables the water to be used again. The gutter system and the cutter head can be simply exchanged in case you need another sorting or cut. If within the total production process the mushrooms do not need to be cut, it is possible to provide the cutting head with by-pass plates.
