FTNON Prep lines – Merry-go-round systems

The production planning often demands that various employees work on different products in one line. These products are processed further as a mix or each separately at a later stage in the production process.

Merry-go-round systems give the employees the possibility to benefit from automatic product supply, with minimal waiting times.

One operator takes care of the supply and discharge of the trays at the system. The employee at the line takes the tray with desired product when it passes, and puts the tray on a support at his work station. The product is prepared at a cutting table and then discharged on to a discharge belt or in a flume.

It is also possible to discharge the product in internal trays which stand on a support next to the cutting tables. The empty trays are put on the merry-go-round system again.
