FTNON “Gentle” tipping system

for dolavs and containers

With the FTNON gentle tipping system for dolavs, vulnerable products can be brought into the production line in a smooth way, whereby the chance of product damage is limited to a minimum. The system also functions as a hopper.

The dolav is placed in the hoisting part of the tipping system, e.g. by a pallet truck or a forklift truck. After closing the safety fence and starting the installation, the dolav is pushed hydraulically against the upper belt, till it is fully locked up. Then the complete dolav is tipped electrically or hydraulically, until it is situated upside down above the belt. A hydraulic arm then pushes the dolav upwards.

The pushing arm of the installation is connected with the transport belt. Though this the speed with which the dolav is ascending, is equal to the rotational speed of the transport belt. In this way friction between product and the installation is avoided. Subsequently, the product rolls out of the dolav onto an outfeed belt.
The outfeed height of the product stays constant. After the dolav is emptied, the complete cycle is reversed, running at a higher speed. Finally, the dolav can be taken out of the installation.
