FTNON Full water – belt cooling system

for fresh pasta and vegetables


A full water - belt cooling system is used for cooling vulnerable products, such as fresh pasta (tortellini, ravioli) and vegetables (peas, beans etc.).
The cooling effect is achieved by transporting the product on a belt through a water bath, whereby the product is fully submerged in the water. The transport takes place by means of carriers mounted on the belt. As an option it is possible to have the cooling water externally cooled down through a heat exchanger. By means of a pneumatic cylinder the belt can be brought into the cleaning position, thereby lifting the belt clear of the installation.

The exact cooling time depends on the kind and composition of the product and the temperature difference between the product and cooling medium. By good control of cooling times and temperatures product loss and energy consumption are limited to a minimum.
