FTNON Flotation washing system
for washing fruit, (leaf) vegetables, mushrooms etc.
The flotation washing machine of Food Technology Noord-Oost Nederland B.V. (FTNON) is specially developed for the washing of products such as fruit, (leaf) vegetables, mushrooms etc.
The products are fed into the washing installation by hand or automatically. The machine consists of a water bath with (depending on the product to be washed) various water injection points. At the bottom of the water bath injection pipes are mounted, through which air or water is blown respectively pumped into the washing water and turbulence is created. After washing, the products leave the machine by a dewatering belt or vibrator. Discharge of impurities can take place continuously or intermittently. The used water is constantly filtered.
