The FTNON drum brush washing machine is suitable for the cleaning of strongly contaminated products, such as celeriac, beets, gherkins etc.

The products are fed into the brush washing machine by a conveyor belt. The installation consists of a round drum, fully coated with synthetic brush profiles. The profiles are implanted with dense bristles.

Cleaning takes place by a combination of brushing and mutual rubbing together of products, and may be supplemented by spraying with fresh water. In order to optimise the cleaning effect, the quantity of product can be set by a sliding plate at the outfeed side of the drum. By hand or automatically.

The dirt is evacuated by a reception chute under the drum. The cleaned products leave the installation through an outfeed funnel.
