FTNON Cyclone destoning installation

for potatoes and other root vegetables

In the cyclone destoning installation of Food Technology Noord-Oost Nederland B.V. (FTNON) you can destone various products, including potatoes and other root vegetables.
The machine consists of a large, conical tank with mixing gear and a rising pipe, through which water is pumped. The attendant stones sink to the bottom. The products are driven up and brought outside the destoner by e.g. a dewatering grid.
The collected stones can be discharged continuously by a belt or intermittently by a valve.

Dewatering takes place automatically. The water is used again.

• discharge of stones continuously or intermittently
• discharge of dirt by outfeed screw or outfeed belt
• discharge of dirt by automatic or manual shut off valve
