When striving for the most hygienic production process the efficient cleaning of product carriers (crates, trays, buckets etc.) plays an important role. Therefore, standard and special washing machines have formed part of the delivery programme of Food Technology Noord-Oost Nederland B.V. (FTNON) for more than 40 years. An example is the FTNON continuous washing machine for crates and trays.

Depending on the degree of contamination such a system can consist of a:

pre-wash zone for thorough pre-cleaning
main wash zone for the actual cleaning
rinsing zone for the discharge of any residues of dirt left behind

as well as a circular rinsing pipe for rinsing off with fresh water.

Finally, it is possible to place a blow-off or a drying installation behind the washing machine. Cleaning takes place on the outside and inside. Flat- jet sprays can be adjusted in such a way that an optimal cleaning result is achieved.
