A new method, whereby oranges, grapefruits and mandarins can be peeled quickly and well. With as result, a perfect-looking end product with enhanced shelf life.

The automatic cabbage coring and quartering machine performs the following functions:

13. How does a FTNON cross-flow blanching installation work?

The first stage of the blanching of French fries is often carried out in a screw blancher with cross flow circulation. Here, the blanching of the French fries is effected at high temperature, with a short retention time.

16. What does the FTNON petfood technology consist of?

We know that speed, flexibility, ease of cleaning and hygiene and low energy consumption are critical to cost-effective performance.

Colour, texture and taste are preserved due to the speed of the heating and cooling phases of our petfood technology that contribute a genuine difference to better end product at lower unit cost.

17. How does a FTNON steam tunnel work?

Through an extruder strands or ropes of meat paste enter the steam tunnel on a conveyor belt. Then, with the aid of the steam, the meat is cooked. Compared with cooking with water the steam tunnel is a more efficient method of obtaining the same, and even better, end product.

It is possible to blanch other products with the help of steam too. The FTNON steam blancher is suitable for blanching and cooking a wide variety of products, such as meat products and snacks, chicken, fish, vegetables, potatoes, etc.

18. What is a STIR® installatie?

STIR® means Selective Transferred Infra Red®. A new approach to the use of Infra Red, bringing a completely new application to the drying of salad leaves and vegetables for the high growth Fresh-Cut industry.

19. What means DCC® ?

Dynamic Cloud Control®. By virtue of this patented steam control system we are able to steam, blanch, cook and disinfect with the lowest possible consumption of energy.

20. How does a NPTTM tunnel work?

In the NPTTM tunnel ultraviolet light is used in a process line in order to reduce micro-organisms on the surface of a product in the most efficient way. The reduction of the number of organisms makes a positive contribution to the life of a food product.
